Does anyone else get kind of a “Everyone but me is stupid so I’ll grace you with my superior knowledge” vibe off of, like, ALL of Wes’ articles?
All the ones that come to mind could be broadly summarized as “Everyone’s doing this thing wrong, but I do it right. Here’s how to be like me.”
I’m really not sure if it’s real or perceived.

He’s always had that vibe about his writing, I’ve found in over 6 years of reading his work

I went back to the article and started to notice it, but I know people very much like that outside of the Internet, so it's something I rarely notice/am used to now

Glad I’m not the only one. When I aksed a serious question, I got a rather condescending answer.

Yep. But then again, he IS better than all of us so I can’t really say much.
He’s always 100% honest though so that’s a plus.

I've noticed that about his writing and responses as well. I like what he does, but he's not god's gift to the outdoors/motorcycles.
